1. High Temperature Batteries

Narada, a high temperature battery manufacturer, has created a range of high temperature batteries which have a temperature recommendation for optimal battery performance and safety of 25 degrees Celsius. Every 10 degrees Celsius increase in the operating temperature will make the battery life reduce by 50 percent. The high temperature battery is designed to have an optimal performance base of 35 degrees Celsius so it can cope with extreme temperatures and environments. High temperature batteries are able to deliver about two times more the life cycle of the conventional lead-acid batteries due to the advanced technology and unique methods of manufacturing them. This has made the high temperature batteries a first choice for the power demands which have been on the increase in remote hybrid telecom sites and other off-grid uses.

2. Low Temperature Battery

Padre, a known low temperature battery manufacturer takes current trends of technology from long term research to make low temperature batteries. Also, there are special functional materials added to the electrolyte such as VGCF material having 2000±500 m/g ratio graphite as supplements and cathode. This unique technology guarantees absolutely good low temperature discharge performance. For many years, the low temperature battery has been used for various purposes such as in the aerospace industry, military equipment, polar region scientific application, deep diving equipment, heated clothing, heated shoes and gloves, adventure power supply, rescuing power supply, very cold area actions, portable light power under low temperature, etc.

Depending on the various work environments, there are 3types:

1. Civilian low temperature battery: -20 degrees Celsius which discharges at 0.2C with 90% capacity, -30 degrees Celsius discharging at 0.2C having 85% capacity.

2. Special type low temperature battery: -40 degrees Celsius discharging at 0.2C having 80% capacity and 0.5 with 75% capacity. It is usually in mass production.

3. Extremely cold low temperature battery: -50 degrees Celsius at 0.2C having a 50% capacity. There is no mass production for this battery.

3. Lithium Titanate Batteries

These batteries are known to have very long life cycles, are fast charging and very safe compared to the conventional Li ion batteries. It is a new form of energy which is changing the industry and every lithium titanate battery manufacturer is doing everything possible to make it a game changing factor for various applications.

There has been a rise in the demand for a smaller, eco-friendly and more efficient renewable energy everyday as the world is moving towards a greener future. Lithium titanate battery has several advantages which are cover economic and ecological area which is very important for greener future driven by renewable energy sources.

Having various applications in different sectors with the automotive industry being the primary focus, lithium titanate technology is certainly the future of battery-powered technology. It utilizes advanced nanotechnology processes for producing anodes that have a surface area that larger than that of the Li ion batteries. This makes lithium titanate batteries have an edge than Li ion batteries because they have up to 20,000 cycles of a life cycle as against 400 cycles that standard li Ion batteries have.

Also, the efficiency of the lithium titanate battery allows for a recharge efficiency of about 98%, a feature which makes it higher than the conventional energy storage systems. Another thing is that they have the highest energy to weight ratio, so far. This has created opportunities for its use by devices that need a lower weight battery like fork lifts and e-cars.

Obviously, the future of mobile energy will rely on nanotechnology which provides advantages such as shorter recharge cycles, longer lifetime, light weight, and high levels of efficiency and safety.
